Philadelphia-based production duo Louis Futon is quickly becoming one of my favourite electronic acts in the business. Silk, an unreleased original off their upcoming self-titled EP, just got the remix treatment from lovestep guru Kill Paris, and if it doesn’t get your heart fluttering, you might need checked for a pulse.
While we won’t hear the original until next month, we get KP’s chilled-out, future bass remix that features his signature funky bass, some heavy synths, and a metric ton of soul. It also carries a sultry air of romantic nostalgia, but really, did you expect anything less from Kill Paris?
Grab the free download here, and keep your eyes and ears open for the release of Louis Futon’s self-titled EP, due out next month.
