LessThan3 favorite Klauss Goulart is back with a new original, but it’s not the same Klauss we’ve come to expect over the past year. The new upstart turned heads with Maximum, featured on Ferry Corsten’s compilation One Upon A Night Vol. 2, and Turbulence, showcased on Markus Schulz’ Prague 2011–together, they make up some of the best high-energy trance produced to date. Phange likes to call him the “3rd member of W&W,” a pretty apt description for an artist distinguished by cutting-edge techy beats.
Klauss’s new hands-in-the-air festival opus Miles Ahead represents an uplifting departure from the raw mind-numbing bangers he produced before. But fear not, Klauss is still Klauss. The undulating power of his beats are ever-so-apparent in this track. Tech trance artists such as Sander van Doorn and Marcus Schossow have been wowing us with the increasing diversity of their productions and mixes, and Klauss Goulart is this newest member in this line of highly impressive artists.
