The “Savior Of Progressive House,” Jeremy Olander, is back, and he’s back in a big way.
The Jackie EP is Olander’s first-three track offering since his 2011 Evade EP on Pryda Friends, and it also marks the first release on Pryda by an artist other than Eric Prydz since, well, forever–it has never actually happened before.
As the first entry into a new multi-release deal with Pryda, Olander has set the bar sky high. The title track is a triumphant, peak-time affair that features one of the more uplifting melodies in recent memory. Lauderdale, once a highly-requested ID and fan favorite, finally has a name and a full release. Last, but certainly not least, is DLIGTY, a thumping electro-progressive powerhouse. We’re hard-pressed to pick the top track from the trio, because we’re equally enamored with the whole lot.
You can pick up the Jackie EP Sept. 29 exclusively on Beatport. Olander will be opening for Eric Prydz during his once-in-a-lifetime EPIC 3.0 show at Madison Square Garden Sept. 27.
