The perpetually hungry Daniel Pearce, better known as Eats Everything, has four new tracks for us this week. The Early Bites EP, released on Fatboy Slim’s label, Southern Fried Records, contains two original tracks and two remixes, all of which show off Pearce’s house music expertise. His SoundCloud will help you stay up to date with his latest releases as well as his tour dates, because this man moves fast, and he stops for nobody.
From the very beginning, Hevvie holds your attention with a magnetic bassline that collapses into a bubbly drop. Lakota, on the other hand, has a very old-school feel, sprinkling elements of disco and funk over a very sporty beat. Eats Everything then goes on to remix the appropriately named You’ll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties; this track epitomizes the whole album, combining the old with the new, leading to an exceptionally groovy breakdown. The last one on this EP is a nice and friendly shout out to his pals over in San Francisco, a fun remix of Worthy’s Bomba.
This release is absolutely delicious, the perfect thing to serve to your guests–but be warned that they will be coming back for more. Available now at your nearest Beatport.
