Groove Cruise X Prepares to Set Sail

In just a few days, Groove Cruise will set sail out of Miami for its 10-year anniversary. Carrying about 3,000 music lovers, over 50 DJs, and nine stages, the Norwegian Pearl will serve as the largest ship in Groove Cruise history. What better way to celebrate the big 10 than with 96 hours of nonstop music, a private beach party in Cozumel, Mexico, and four unforgettable nights with strangers who will soon enough become your second family.

Groove Cruise X will take place Jan. 30-Feb. 3 and will feature performances from Cosmic Gate, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Boris, Tritonal, Deniz Koyu, Adrian Lux, and so many others. Between the Super Bowl party headlined by Michael Woods and the Blackjack Tournament against Cosmic Gate and Markus Schulz, there will be endless opportunities for fans aboard to interact with their favorite artists.

As a way to celebrate the past 10 years, Groove Cruise is making sure to throw one hell of a party on the ship, as well as off. There will be two pre-parties this Wednesday in Miami for those wanting to get a jump start on their Groove Cruise shenanigans. The first will be the Get Whet Pool Party at the Clevelander from 1 p. m. to 10 p. m. with performances from Scotty Boy, Steve Smooth, Dean Mason, Cato K, and Louis Dee & Bam Bam Buddha. The craziness will continue on over to the Cameo until 5 a.m. for Funkagenda, Sydney Blu, Feenixpawl, Pierce Fulton, and Kalendr. Be sure to save some energy though, because the madness doesn’t truly start until the next day.

As soon as cruisers board the ship on Thursday, there will already be music playing. Once everyone has met their neighbors and the ship has left the port, the adventure will begin. With so many options, it’s impossible to go wrong. There are, however, some events we do not recommend missing. As you kick off your first day, be sure to check out Rebecca & Fiona, Gabriel & Dresden, Cosmic Gate, EDX, and the surprise set that will happen that evening. If cruisers survive the first night, they have the Old School Hip-Hop Party to look forward to on Friday. The beach party in Mexico on Saturday will be headlined by John Dahlback and Sultan & Ned Shepard and is guaranteed to be insane. On Sunday, cruisers can cheer on their favorite team at the Super Bowl Party with Michael Woods, Hook N Sling, Pierce Fulton, and Cato K. We’ll definitely be checking out Markus Schulz’s open to close set and then ending our last night at the infamous Sunrise Set with Dsk Chk. This is sure to be magical.

Make sure to check out the schedules here. If you’re unable to choose what shows you want to go to, just roam and go where the music takes you. The options are endless, the music is nonstop, and there will be friends to be made. Rest up. Pack your bags. We’ll see you in a few days for Groove Cruise X.
