With names like Porter Robinson, Feed Me, and Skrillex leading the new electro charge, it may seem there isn’t too much room, talent-wise, for new names to squeeze in. However, that just means that whoever gets in is fan-freaking-tastic. Ladies and gentlemen, meet a duo who refuse to stay unknown: The Loops of Fury.
Taking their name from The Chemical Brothers’ 1996 album, they aim to captiure a sound that truly rocks your face off. I Need is an original that’ll rudely drop your jaw about two minutes into the song with a massive, massive breakdown. With today’s sparkly, melody-infused electro running amok, some mean-as-hell hooks are always appreciated. Krakken is even better–more of that dark, subdued energy erupting into absolute destruction. My favorite.
