If tropical house is what’s driving folks wild these days, here’s a scintillating bit of tropical electro that’s less Kygo and more of a break-friendly exploration of Dutch house: Chicago producer Gorilla Bass’ remix of Canadian techno legend Tiga’s underground smash Bugatti.
Merely ascribing one genre name to Gorilla Bass’ bumping low-end cavalcade would be unfair. The “electroacidtrapmoombahton” creation is primed for peak-hour deployment, the concept of moombahton drops from acid-break builds being one of the more fanciful and fun-loving concepts explored in underground bass in 2015.
Proving that everything old is new again (and again), it’s free-to-download and a dancefloor-smashing digital crate addition that should be dropped with the greatest of care. Pick it up here.
