I think by now it’s obvious that everything Diplo touches turns to gold. His label, Mad Decent, has an array of talented acts, including South Rakkas Crew, Buraka Som Sistema, and Crookers. Now his label has picked up an artist that’s making subtle waves in the industry–Oliver Twizt. The Dutch producer exploded in popularity after parting ways with his collaboration project Skizofrenix. Sidney Samson quickly saw potential in Twizt and subsequently released his first EP Damn It. The release of his remix of Rusko’s Hold On solidified Twizt as a legitimate producer and led to a very successful year, getting love from the likes of David Guetta and Laidback Luke.
It seems almost all of Twizt’s songs are extremely party-friendly. His song Rich B!tch is no exception. From start to finish, Rich B!tch is a Dutch house party banger. It’s been proven by artists like Chuckie time and time again that the proper use of certain hip hop elements coupled with the right electro beats can without a doubt take the energy of a production or set to a new level. The newly-released Loca is also sure to spark up a dance-a-thon (that may or may not be G-rated) with its latin-infused sounds.
If you like Oliver’s rhythms, be sure to head over to Mad Decent to pick up a free copy of Twizt’s remix of Hold On.
