Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a good ol’ crazy electro house song. No uplifting vocals, no complicated bass lines, no technical complexities – you just want something to “bang your head on.” Well, that’s what Sharooz gives us with his track, Get Off. It starts out with a string of party sounds that are perfect for any transition. Then you’re brought into a staggering buildup via some deadly synth. It drops down into rolling bass that would make even Glenn Beck want to stomp dance. The rest of the song keeps the momentum going as it basically repeats the first part of the song. It’s simple yet it works so well. Some times, one bangin’ beat is all you need.
A lot of DJs have been playing this one. Moby dropped it earlier on during his EDC set this past year to amazing effect. Erol Alkan and Boys Noize have also been known to play this at their shows. I can see why–it has a very Boys Noize vibe to it. Hopefully Sharooz will keep crankin’ out the good tunes. For now, check this one out.
