Pop/R&B/Trap | Sevyn Streeter feat. Chris Brown – It Won’t Stop [Atlantic]
I love it when I hear a great song on pop radio. It Won’t Stop by R&B newcomer Sevyn Streeter and Chris Brown is just pure sexy. Silky vocals, trap rhythms, and a to-die-for melody. Check out the official video–how beautiful is Sevyn? Grab it here.

House | Moby feat. Damien Jurado – Almost Home (Sebastien Edit) [Little Idiot]
Moby made me want to call my brother and tell him we’re never, ever going to space with the cripplingly emotional fan-made video for Almost Home, which also made me fall in love with the plaintive vocal and haunting piano chords. Thankfully, Hamburg house-head Sebastien came through with a version I can listen to without losing my composure, unless you include poor dancing. Pick up a copy here.

Jesse Champagne
Deep House | Pablo Nouvelle – Poison (Maxxi Soundsystem Remix) [Black Butter]
Brighton’s Maxxi Soundsystem delivers a deep, hazy remix of Swiss musician/filmmaker Pablo Nouvelle. Atmospheric and infectious, the tune serves up a fat bassline and faded vocals to make for a decidedly funky yet relaxed experience.

Mike Davies
House | S-Man – Dangerous Thoughts (Original Mix) [Undr The Radr]
Roger Sanchez has revived his rarely seen S-Man alias, first used in 1994 and reserved for his deeper and more underground works. Dangerous Thoughts was born in Ibiza and debuted on the Space Terrace last year. Hard-hitting, dark and dirty underground house, this is a side to Roger Sanchez we’d love to see even more of in the future. Dangerous Thoughts is out now on Undr The Radr, Roger’s brand new label, one that should cause a storm in the coming months if this is anything to go by.

Eric Gossett
Indie & Beats | Four Tet/Martyn – Glassbeadgames (8 Hours At Fabric Dub)
Just three days after releasing new material under his Percussions alias, Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, has unveiled a new collaboration with Dutch producer Martyn. No doubt two of the better collaborators in the business, Four Tet and Martyn compliment one another beautifully in this alternate version of Glassbeadgames, a track off Martyn’s forthcoming album The Air Between Words. Soulful beats and glossy synth patterns travel alongside a border of streamlined bass and uniform rhythms, resulting in eight minutes of effortless electronic serenity. Martyn’s The Air Between Words is out June 16 via Ninja Tune.

Chris Downar
Future Trap | DRIPMOB – GRLS [Free Download]
I’ve listened to GRLS by DRIPMOB quite a few times this week. These talented producers from the San Francisco Bay Area packed this gem with heaps of cascading melodies and window-rattling bass. Its chill vibes are perfect for this Friday afternoon, so go download it for free off their SoundCloud page.

Glitch Hop | Cheshire & Crazy Daylight – Simply Lifted (Original Mix) [Adapted]
Cheshire churns out more good times than a brewery. There’s no denying that beer helps people loosen up, but Cheshire’s brand of glitch funk can shoot the party into full gear with just the slightest taste. Choosing a standout from his latest album, Simply Lifted, is tough, but the title track wins my vote simply because it contains some fascinating sounds made by Crazy Daylight: another phenomenal glitch funk artist who deserves just as much attention. If you like this, snag the full album on Beatport.

House | Phoebe Killdeer and The Short Straws – Fade Out Line (John Asking & Benjamin Knows Edit) [Free Download]
This track is a prime example of deep/tech house artists adding the most subtle element of bass to a downtempo original, and as DJ Hanzel says, simply taking it “von deeper.” Fade Out Line is such a pleasant, mellow tune at its core, with Phoebe Killdeer’s classic voice and The Short Straws’ acoustic accompaniment. John Asking and Benjamin Knows’ edit maintains those key trademarks, but the beat is just slightly more “head bobbable.” If you’re into this sort of melodic deep house, you can help yourself to a free download.

Megan Murphy
Electro House | Seven Lions feat. Ellie Goulding – Don’t Leave (Original Mix) [Casablanca]
Dynamic beatmaker Seven Lions dropped his Worlds Apart EP this week, and among its solid collaborations is this breathtaking track featuring the flawless Ellie Goulding. Seven Lions has certainly dabbled on the dark side with tracks like Serpent Of Old, but he really shows his versatility with this soft and downtempo groove. He creates a melodic beat full of silky smooth bass, and combined with the vocal prowess of Ellie, that’s all he needs for the magic to happen. Grab the track on iTunes.

Indie & Beats | Ryan Hemsworth – Ryan Must Be Destroyed (Wave Racer Remix) [Last Gang]
Enter Wavesworth, the dream-team duo of video game-inspired producers Ryan Hemsworth and Wave Racer. The guys released a collaborative 7″ single yesterday called Destroyed in which they remix each other’s tunes, and we’ve finally been treated to Wave Racer’s contribution (following Hemsworth’s dizzying Streamers remix a couple months back). If Wave Racer’s moniker doesn’t clue you in to where he’s coming from, those unmistakable Yoshi samples peppered throughout his remix of Ryan Must Be Destroyed ought to do the trick. Score the 7″ here while they last.
