Flume Drops New Collarbones Remix, ‘Turning’
Collarbones - Turning (Flume Remix) [Future Classic / Two Bright Lakes]

Still riding high on the success of his latest original, Some Minds, Flume (pictured) delivers a new remix of fellow Aussie group Collarbones’ track Turning.

Flume dials up the bass and takes out the echoed vocals of the original, but he leaves the main chorus intact to flavor the tune with his iconic yet unconventional sound. About midway through the track he adds a string of effects against a massive synth line that sound uncannily like fireworks bursting.

After teasing the track in many of his sets, fans can finally put a name to the tune and the group that he’s remixed. Little is known about the Collarbones past the fact that they share the same Sydney hometown as Flume, but we’ll wager they’ll be on many music buff’s radars after this.

While there is no release date yet, you can hear Flume drop this while on tour. Check out the full list of remaining dates at his Facebook here.
