Feed Me just wrapped up two necessities for his impending tour in a totally rebuilt “Teeth” stage setup and a four-track EP of new fodder, and he’s offered fans some new insight into what made them possible.
Feed Me will sink his new and improved Teeth into New York’s Terminal 5 to kick off the tour Aug. 2, and his human counterpart and de facto babysitter, Jon Gooch, shared a photo gallery of the team test building the new structure.
While the brand new stage setup comes together, Feed Me takes some time out to explain his four-course Psychedelic Journey EP to his dinner guests via SoundCloud, where the new EP is streaming in full:
My latest EP was written over the course of my time off from touring. It consists of four tracks, representing in chronological and stylistic order; consideration, recuperation, awakening and transcendence.
Patience is my frustration at having to stop, and a reflection on the past,
Time For Myself is a reconnection with my energy and humour.
Alarm Clock is a stride into new territory and a reminder of why I love what I do,
and Without Gravity is being comfortable in my skin again.
The fourth and final track completed the EP’s gradual reveal. Its rising and falling progressive-electro production dials back on joyously pummeling the listener à la typical Feed Me to instead ponder self-identity, however still sporting a palatable hint of moist crunch between passages of luminous synth work.
