Music recognition service Shazam is launching a new feature that will allow you to view the listening habits of some of dance music’s biggest stars.
Artists like Avicii, Calvin Harris, and Alesso have already signed up to the service, with plenty more expected to follow as Shazam has already promised that “hundreds” of artists are lined up to join the roster. The new features will offer users an insight into what tracks your favorite artists are listening to off-stage, as well as provide info and updates on new music they’re releasing themselves. Shazam has also teamed up with Apple Music, with identified tracks now including a button that links directly to the music streaming service when applicable–a valuable coup for Apple given the 20 million tracks identified by Shazam every day.
