London-based producer Fake Blood is plowing straight into 2014 with a new three-track EP, due out next month on his own Blood Music label. The Waiting EP promises to offer up some diversity in his style, and to kick things off, he’s just released a taste of what to expect.
Get Myself Together, track two on the EP, instantly evokes memories of UK garage, especially with the bouncy and slightly trippy percussion in the intro. Before long it’s full-on groovy house, with some simple catchy synth stabs, deep bass, and a vocal hook which begs you to sing along.
Due out on March 10, the Waiting EP looks set to be another massive hit for Fake Blood, and is available to pre-order now.
