In the seemingly never-ending game between Facebook and clickable music content, new Facebook iOS app feature Music Stores will now allow for 30-second clips to play for links shared from Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes without having to leave the Facebook app itself.
Furthermore, plans are for playlists to also be shared as clipped streams, too. The major bonus of this plan is that subscriptions to, or installations of, either Spotify or Apple Music are unnecessary for the Facebook iOS streaming preview service to work. Like what you hear? Music Stores will allow Facebook users to save songs streamed to their music collections, or also buy them from iTunes by merely clicking a button.
There is no word regarding when this service will roll out for desktop or Android Facebook services, too.
