Get in the mood for your Easter weekend with some of the week’s hottest new trance music, courtesy of the 17th edition of Entranced, featuring some brand new belters from Johan Vilborg, Simon Patterson, Tangle, and more.
Johan Vilborg & Jeza – Sweet Disaster (Original Mix) [Enhanced Progressive]
First up this week, Swedish producer Johan Vilborg teams up with Jeza for the beautiful vocal-led tune Sweet Disaster. Jeza’s delicate vocal lines are complemented by some lush pads, with the big-room trance tinged drops providing plenty of driving energy. A perfect tune to put some chilled spring vibes into your life, Sweet Disaster is out now on Enhanced Progressive, so grab your copy now.
Simon Bostock – Suraya (Original Mix) [Monster Force]
Taking things on a tougher edge next is Simon Bostock with his latest anthem Suraya. Filled to the brim with plenty of everything that trance purists love–from vocal chops, to plucky synths, to rolling basslines–this one is designed to be played nice and loud, and is already storming its way up the Beatport trance chart. Suraya is out now on Monster Force, and if you need more Simon Bostock in your life, why not check out his top picks for April via his Suraya Beatport chart.
Simon Patterson feat. Matt Adey – Time Stood Still (Original Mix) [Armind]
Another Simon now, this time of the Patterson variety with his latest release on Armind. Time Stood Still features the vocals of Matt Adey and makes for a pleasant surprise. Adey’s vocal style swings from almost spoken word to more traditional singer-songwriter style–as is his background–and is slightly unusual for a trance track, but it works fantastically well. Some big synth builds and a dark and moody drop make the track complete, so grab your copy now. If you’re still left wanting for more, Simon has also mixed the latest in the Trance Nation album series, which is out on April 5 and is available to pre-order now.
Talemono – Overload (Original Mix) [Armada Captivating]
A total newcomer to the scene now in the shape of Talemono and his debut release Overload. Full of plenty of main-stage atmosphere, a brutal drop, and some catchy synth hooks, Overload has already received plenty of support from Armin and W&W. Talemono is certainly a name to keep an eye on in the coming months, and in the meantime Overload is out now on Armada Captivating.
Tangle – Oblivion (Original Mix) [DSR]
Rounding things off this week we pick the pace up a little with Colorado-based producer Tangle, who returns to Digital Society with his latest track Oblivion. An extended breakdown features plenty of dreamy synths, staccato hooks and massive melodies, while the drop takes things dark and techy with plenty of pounding percussion and psy-trance basslines. Oblivion should keep you bouncing with energy until next week, so head on over to Beatport and pick up a copy now.
