A couple of buzzworthy tracks is all it takes these days for a talented artist to land a spot on the dance map. That’s certainly true for Tommy Trash, who’s quickly become a global name thanks to two hit releases: The End and All My Friends.
Aside from his “trashy” electro bass lines, Trash’s distinct “bagpipe”-sounding melodies distinguish the Australian from the rest of the crowd. It may not seem like much, but with so many overlapping and replicable styles in house music, any marked difference can, in fact, make the difference. His latest track Future Folk, from Tiesto’s Musical Freedom Records, is no different–it’s already getting plenty of love and play-time on the dance floor. Like The End, Trash’s big-room melody and grimy electro bassline in Future Folk prove to be a winning formula yet again. For a different but equally fun electro style, check out his vocal hit All My Friends, also available for your listening pleasure.
