EDC Las Vegas Sells Out In Record Time

Insomniac Events’ flagship property Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas sold out of both GA and VIP tickets in record time this year, again before a single artist was announced.

CEO Pasquale Rotella’s devoted army of “headliners” has developed such strong sense of loyalty to the brand that in similar fashion to 2013, they’ve gladly scooped up all 400,000-plus combined nightly entrances over the three-day event June 20-22 without waiting to see the lineup. Tickets ran dry during the afternoon of March 7, despite being increased by 20,000 per day when compared with ’13.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that the 115,000 tickets per day in 2013 sold out roughly six weeks later on April 29, still before the lineup was revealed May 1.

Rotella took to Instagram shortly after the last remaining tickets were sold to remind people to use caution when seeking alternate means (full associated quote below).

After tickets to EDC Las Vegas officially sold out yesterday, I’ve seen a lot of people trying to buy/sell tickets online and want to remind you to be careful of scammers & ticket fraud! If you’re still in need of a ticket, DO NOT buy one from a scalper – you should only consider purchasing from an authorized ticket reseller or trusted friend. If you arrive at EDC Las Vegas with an illegitimate ticket, we cannot provide a refund or another pass, and you will be out of luck. There are no paper tickets being distributed for this event, so any paper tickets for sale will be counterfeit. A Ticket Card will only be valid if a 3 Day Pass has been loaded onto the card – you can check online at (but keep in mind, the seller can later report the card as lost or stolen and have it make sure the seller is someone you trust). Stay safe everyone!

Thanks to multiple expansions of the globally recognized brand, fans needing their EDC fix can still score tickets to EDC Mexico March 15-16 and EDC New York May 24-25, with tickets to London, Puerto Rico, and Orlando coming soon. Check back for a lineup announcement for the 18th annual EDC LV.
