Les Sins feat. Nate Salman – Why [Company]
As the brilliant brainchild of Chaz Bundick, whom most of us know as the indie artist Toro y Moi, Les Sins is off to a great start with records like this one. Why will be featured on Les Sins’ premiere album Michael, set for a Nov. 4 release via Company Records. Pre-order is available here.

Years and Years – Desire [Polydor]
It’s quite an indescribable feeling to discover a band that you simply know is destined for greatness, and Years and Years is that band for me. From Real to Take Shelter to the most recent, Desire, these boys simply never disappoint. Order the catchy single here.

Laurel – Shells (Durante Remix) [Turn First Artists]
As if Laurel’s voice wasn’t mesmerizing enough on it’s own, add Durante’s smooth, sensual production, and we’ve undoubtedly got a 10 out of 10. This one’s available for purchase via iTunes here.

Flight Facilities feat. Emma Louise – Two Bodies (Darius Remix)
After thinking long and hard for the perfect word to describe Darius, a disco house genius and one of my all-time favorite musicians, I’ve settled on the word, “hypnotizing.” Whether it’s an original or a remix, the French producer’s beats have the power to effortlessly evoke a sense of romance in nearly anyone. The latest is this remix of Flight Facilities’ Two Bodies, the debut single from the duo’s Down To Earth album.

Mayer Hawthorne – The Stars Are Ours (Mayer’s Disco Version)
In the SoundCloud description for this track, Hawthorne writes, “A good song is a good song regardless of what style it is. I wanted to test my songwriting to see if it would hold up when performed a completely different way. What do you think?” Mr. Hawthorne, if you’re out there, my answer is that you’ve definitely succeeded in proving that point. Listen to the original The Stars Are Ours here, and download Mayer’s Disco Version for free here.
