WATCH: Disclosure’s Futuristic Video For ‘Holding On’

Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, Caracal, Disclosure has released a music video for the LP’s first single, Holding On, featuring Gregory Porter.

It’s delivered as the first of a four-part video series that the pair plan to unveil in the months to come. “We wanted to create something very different with our music videos this time around,” the duo said. “Something unique that would connect all the songs from the album and the videos in a special way.”

Director Ryan Hope, the mastermind behind Bombay Bicycle Club’s Leave It and Sam Smith’s controversial Lay Me Down, captures a glimpse into a young woman’s life living in a post-modern Mexico City. Shared just days after the duo released a cryptic trailer for the forthcoming album, it’s apparent that the woman, who goes by the name of Mariela, will play a major role in each film to follow.

Pre-order Caracal ahead of its Sept. 25 release date here, and catch Disclosure when they perform two shows in conjunction with the album’s release at Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on Sept. 29 and Madison Square Garden in New York City on Oct. 24.
