The brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence offered full Disclosure on their sophomore album in a recent interview, in which they announced that the follow-up to Settle will go into full production in September.
The breakout British garage-house luminaries made the music world throw on the brakes in 2013 with their now-platinum debut album. Thanks to info surfaced by Superstar DJs, a UK TV series hosted by Annie Mac, and a post from the homies Mixmag, we know that our second helping is on the way and has “actually been going really well,” according to the guys.
The brothers plan to relocate their studio to London from the suburban environment in which Settle was penned and polish off a new collection of tunes that, while a “little bit” different from Settle, will remain true to their sound on the whole:
When asked about their “time off in September”, Guy (the older one) told Annie: “[We’re] going to differentiate the sound a little bit from the previous album. We don’t want to go a million miles away from where we are.”
UK readers can watch the episode featuring Disclosure here, but attempts to view outside of the UK have been futile. Check back for more info on the next Disclosure LP. Also, if you haven’t heard the latest from the Disclosure remix department, we can fix that.
