dirtybird’s finest DJs Justin Martin and Claude VonStroke pimped out Exchange LA last Saturday night for their players ball. Insomniac’s downtown venue always has top notch production, today’s best talent, and LA’s most devoted music fans. dirtybird brings out a particularly friendly crowd, and this party kept bouncing on until sunrise.
It wouldn’t be a dirtybird players ball without a pimp mac daddy on stage! Bishop Don “Magic” Juan was the host for the evening, and he really helped hype up the party with his unique charm, fancy suit, and shiny goblet.
Justin Martin is one of the most talented DJs I know, and at Exchange LA, he delivered a diverse set of funky beats, catchy breaks, and loads of bass-heavy tracks. As always, the crowd loved him. When he spun his Beatport Top 10-charting remix of Stay by Henry Krinkle, they all erupted with tremendous excitement and sang along
The founder of dirtybird, Claude VonStroke has a very calm and natural stage presence. His experience and confidence is further expressed in his track selection, and his set had a great flow from beginning to end. He had everyone going wild to remixes of his album Urban Animal and his latest CaliFuture EP.
Later in the early morning hours, Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin treated fans to a back-to-back set, and together they make an incredible pair. No matter how late it got, their track selection gave everyone plenty more energy to keep on dancing. dirtybird shows are always a great time.
