Dirtybirds rejoice! Early Friday morning, dirtybird and its roster of audio pioneers announced that they will begin a world tour next month. Celebrating eleven years of “bass-driven funk, sweaty house and dance floor carnage,” the Bay Area house label promises that the shows will have “forties and neck ties, ghetto blasters and golf carts, deck shows and BBQ sauce.”
The dirtybird Players tour lineup will consist of many favorites, including: Justin Martin, Eats Everything, J Phlip, Leroy Peppers, Catz + Dogz, Shadow Child, Kill Frenzy, Worthy, Justin Jay and more. The tour, led by label-founder Claude VonStroke, includes stops at Coachella, SXSW, Movement and Miami Music Week.
Ten dates have been released as of today with promises of more to be announced. Make sure you pick up your ticket to experience a night of dance floor delights when the dirtybird Players roll into your city. Also, be on the lookout, as the tour coincides with the release of the dirtybird Players Various Artists Compilation, due out March 13th.
