Dinnerdate Offers An Enticing ‘Memoire’
Dinnerdate - Memoire [Next Wave]

If you’re ever in need of tranquil, reflective tunes to take you away from the daily grind and into a fully meditative state of mind, look no further than Dinnerdate. The German producer made his mark over a year ago with the mesmerizing remix of José González’ Crosses and has been notorious for captivating fans with emotionally-stirring minimal edits of indie tunes ever since.

The latest in this medley of entrancing gems is the first of five upcoming originals, quite appropriately entitled Memoire. The track eases listeners into complete relaxation mode with the sound of natural, ambient rain leading into subtle percussion, soothing piano chords, and a muffled vocal sample from Deborah Cox’s 1998 September.

Memoire was released on Oct. 27 via Los Angeles’ Next Wave Records and is available as a free download here.
