LessThan3 is back from Ultra Music Festival, and we’ve got a few souvenirs. It seems that Diddy is trying to storm the EDM world, as his presence in Miami this year was bigger than ever. It all started when I saw Chuckie a couple of days before UMF. Chuckie came out and destroyed everybody with his remix of Diddy Dirty Money’s I Hate That You Love Me. I was thoroughly surprised, as I did not expect Diddy to sound so hard on the dancefloor. Chuckie’s Marquee Remix combines dirty Dutch tribal bass with sick buildups that make you want to shake that booty hard.
Diddy Dirty Money was everywhere at Ultra. It seemed like everyone dropped Dirty South’s remix of Coming Home, from Tiesto to will.i.am. The one DJ who went above and beyond with this song was Erick Morillo when he played it with Diddy live on stage! That’s right, you heard me correctly–Diddy was live on stage at UMF. The EDM scene now has the backings of one of the most influential people in American music right now, and things are only going to get bigger. After performing Hello, Good Morning, Diddy told Morillo to “take it home” and then the beat dropped. You can see the live performance in the video below, but here’s the actual track for better quality.
