It’s a quite a struggle to be an artist, but then comes one day you pour your heart and soul into a tune and it manifests beautifully. Presenting to the world More Unfamiliar. LA’s local electro house talent Alexandre Williams aka DirtyRock met with Justin and Harris of Shift Four over the summer to engineer this jamming tune. Justin supplied his guitar samples and Harris contributed his expertise as an experienced progressive house producer who goes by the name Passive Progressive. Completing the tune were the impassioned vocals of their friend David Reed.

The Candyland version of More Unfamiliar expands on the original’s dirty wobbles with a full-on dubstep beat and rhythm. Morphing the bassline into a grinding assault on sanity, the remix by Bassive tops on a fresh new layer of dirt. A quality tune by all measures, the original was featured as the second tune in Electric Zoo’s recap video (see below). Be sure to show your <3 for this release by grabbing it here on Beatport–it released just today on Invisibles.
