deadmau5 fans now have another way to help kill time until his double album While (1<2) reaches their ears June 17 thanks to a new mobile app devoted to only the most die-hard mau5 devotees.

deadmau5 launched the mobile version of his deadmau5 Live platform today, which offers all the same features of the web version–pics, videos, teasers, chats with the mau5, and new tunes–in a portable package. Many of these features are unavailable, however, until users set up a premium account at $4.99 a month. A free account has allowed us to watch him play a good deal of Diablo III today, which, for a distinctly impersonal activity, is quite humanizing, turns out.
The deadmau5 app is currently only compatible with iOS, but he promises Android users their day is coming.

Download the iOS app here, and listen to a short preview of the album’s lead track, Avaritia, above. Pre-ordering for While (1<2) begins May 20, and those who take advantage will instantly receive a download of Avaritia.
