One of the biggest releases of 2014 was Duck Sauce’s long-awaited debut album Quack. Many of the album’s tracks have seen their fair share of remixes, but Miami-based producer Damaged Goods’ new remix of Charlie Chazz & Rappin Ralph might just be the best of the bunch.
While Duck Sauce’s original version of Charlie Chazz & Rappin Ralph sounds like something straight out of the ’70s with its blaring horns and disco-themed bassline, Damaged Goods trades in the retro sounds for a modern electro romp that features a grinding lead synth and a pounding four-on-the-floor beat. He does keep some of the funky vibes from the original intact, however, by including sped-up vocals and a bouncy bassline that is sure to be a hit on dancefloors all over.
