Dance music’s favorite reclusive robots Daft Punk rebooted their near-forgotten 2006 Human After All (Remixes) collection and made it available in the US for the first time since its initial 2006 release, even adding one brand new remix.
The first batch featured remixes from Justice, Soulwax, and more, all circa 2006, but the package was released in Japan only. The collection was added to by names like Basement Jaxx and The Juan Maclean in a re-release in June of this year, but as Pitchfork points out, it was once again a Japan-only affair.
While the world waits for new Daft, Guy-Man and Thomas slyly slid the complete 15-track release onto Spotify and the US iTunes store for the first time ever, including one all-new remix of Technologic by Le Knight Club, De Homem-Christo’s lesser known duo.
Enjoy the new Le Knight Club take, Basement Jaxx’ extra-techy Technologic remix, and Justice’s “Guy-Man After All” remix of Human After All above. Head over to iTunes to pick up the rest, or use the Spotify player below to experience all 15 tracks for yourself.
