From uptempo house to big room progressive and electro, Daddy’s Groove has had their fair share of banging releases since their debut single, Rendez Vous, in 2006. In the summer of 2011, they got their big break when they worked alongside David Guetta on his album Nothing But The Beat. The Naples natives have since worked with Guetta on a few productions including their remix for Chris Brown and Lil Wayne, which is included for your auditory pleasure, and Guetta’s massive rework of their tune Turn The Lights Down.
The Italian supergroup’s latest gem, Hurricane, pays tribute to both their current and evolving styles with high-flying, aggressive synth patterns and distorted basslines. Daddy’s Groove has clearly presented themselves as melodic masterminds, but Hurricane spotlights a far more explosive fusion of electro and progressive elements than we are accustomed to from the duo. Prepare yourselves for a whirlwind of fierce beats and pick up Hurricane over on Beatport.
