Dada Life announced today that Stefan Engblom (pictured right), one half of the Swedish duo, was forced to fly home for abdominal surgery and will not be able to perform in upcoming shows March 27-29.
This includes the Remembrance Festival in Miami March 27, the Dada show at Hakkasan Las Vegas the following night, and their show at Boise, Idaho’s Revolution March 29. All performances will still offer the full Dada Life live experience, as Dada’s other half, Ollie Corneer, will carry the torch solo.
A post on Dada’s blog details the situation:
We wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately Stefan has had to fly back to Sweden to have some urgent abdominal surgery. It has to be done now to prevent more serious conditions in the future, as of right now we don’t know the recovery time but will have a timeline from the doctors in the coming days and will keep you all posted.
For the upcoming shows this weekend in Miami, Las Vegas and Boise please note that Olle will be coming and playing a full Dada Life show.
Do The Dada
Best wishes for a successful operation and speedy recovery for Engblom.
