Liverpool-based club brand Cream is bringing the Creamfields festival to Ibiza this summer for the first time ever with an all-day-and night event due to be held across the Ushuaia complex in Playa d’en Bossa on Saturday, Aug. 1.
With their annual festival in the Cheshire countryside a highlight of the UK dance scene and their Ibiza nights now entering their 21st year at Amnesia, it’s little wonder the Cream name causes something of a stir when a new event is announced. The lineup for Creamfields Ibiza certainly had a lot to live up to, but with a wealth of artists across four arenas, it’s certainly looking promising.
Keeping things bass-heavy at Ushuaia’s neighbour, the Hard Rock Hotel, will be headliners The Prodigy joined by Pendulum, Sigma, and others. Meanwhile, Ushuaia itself is split into separate day and night events, with Annie Mac, MK, and Hannah Wants, among others playing under the bright blue Ibiza skies, while Above & Beyond, Afrojack, and Steve Angello take to the stage once the sun sets.
The Ants crew make their usual Saturday appearance at the club, moving things into the Ushuaia tower for the day, with appearances from Pete Tong, Los Suruba, Andrea Oliver, and plenty more.
Creamfields Ibiza is a rare appearance of a festival on an island dominated by club nights, and at 75 Euros a ticket–just 20 or so Euros more than most club entry prices–makes for something of a bargain given what’s on offer. Early bird tickets are selling fast, so grab yours now from the Creamfields Ibiza website, and get booking your flights.
