The Chemical Brothers Drop New Single Off 1st Album In 5 Years

Apparently, 2015 is the year of the comeback. Following in the footsteps of fellow UK group The Prodigy, who released The Day Is My Enemy, their first studio album in six years, British duo The Chemical Brothers have announced their eight studio album and first in five years, Born In The Echoes.

After teasing fans with a short 23-second clip earlier in the week, group members Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons have revealed the album’s first single, Sometimes I Feel So Deserted. Premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, it’s a mesmerizing mix of classic Chemical Brothers and modern sensibilities, as the duo blends together grungy acid house and electro with an infectious vocal from an as-yet-unnamed singer.
