It’s a deep house takeover in Bobby Nourmand’s dreamy remix of The Doors’ Peace Frog, off their 1970 album Morrison Hotel, now available as a free download.

The remix, which was made on the same block as Jim Morrison’s last LA residence and released on Jim’s birthday, Dec. 8, is in many ways a tribute to the rock legend that inspires Nourmand to this day. The groove in this song is subtle and smooth, and it gradually gains momentum through some well-blended warming vocals and haunting background sounds. This track sounds tailor-made to lift weary feet for one last dance, and it certainly has all the elements to do so.
