Trance trio Hybrid has been working up a storm the past two years, the result of which has been their fourth studio album, Disappear Here. One of my favorites off the album is a song that shares the album name and also shows the album’s progress. Perhaps it is due to the time and hard work they have put in, or perhaps it is due to the new addition of vocalist Charlotte James, but this track is just a cut above their previous works. It features deep vocals and a synth-y piano which complement the high-intensity bass to give the track a bit of a house-y feel. A chopped vocal sample gives the track its signature accent; despite its infrequency, you’ll know it when you hear it.
Disappear Here has seen remixes from such names as Andy Moor (my favorite), Maor Levi, and Antix, and has received radio show play on Armin’s A State of Trance and Above & Beyond’s Trance Around the World. In short, this track won’t be going anywhere for a while. Have a listen, pick your remix, and get acquainted.
