You can always count on Daniel Kandi’s Always Alive label to offer up some solid uplifting trance, especially when the maestro himself takes the wheel with one of his own productions. His latest release is the epitome of his style, something that should please his loyal fanbase and trance fans as a whole.
Better Late Than Never is exactly what you want from a decent trance record–energetic bass and percussion, a massive break complete with pianos and lots of reverb, and a simple yet catchy synth riff. It’s a prime example of why this style of trance is referred to as “uplifting,” with emotive songwriting and flawless production technique intertwining to create a melodic masterpiece that is as epic as it gets. Kandi has a reputation for kicking out the best of what the genre has to offer, and this is a prime example.
