Steven Baan made quite an impact on the trance family this year, even gaining support from Richard Durand, who hailed him as the year’s breakthrough DJ/producer of 2011. Under his alias Estiva, he produces powerful club tunes like his recent transformative remix of Sand Dunes by Canada’s A.M.R. Originally a 2009 uplifting trancer, the tune was dealt some roaring basslines and progressive beats to make it a solid banger.
Knowing just who share his tunes with, he gave his passionate vocal track Better Days to Finland’s Tom Fall. The progressive house producer served up the melancholy track with an even deeper mood and a softer rhythm. Also knowing well to trust Maor Levi with his work, the Israeli producer concocted an incredible remix of Next Level.
