Welcome back to our series with Beatport known as The Beatport Box, where we bring you the best of Beatport exclusives on a weekly basis. This week, Sincopat’s ringleader gives us an indie dance anthem, Jewelz & Sparks impress us again with a release on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records, and more.
Deep/Indie Dance | AFFKT feat. Sutja Gutierrez – The Show [Sincopat]
AFFKT and Sutja Gutierrez join up this week to bring you their analog-soaked indie dance anthem The Show through AFFKT’s own Sincopat. Showcasing the artist’s wide range of influences and breadth of production prowess, The Show is a sharp left turn from AFFKT’s recent techier outings through Kling Klong, Snatch!, and others. Including Smash TV and Villanova remixes on the flip, this is one thick release we’re expecting to hear in sets for months to come. Grab it here.
Tech House/Techno | Various Artists – Suara Showroom 25
Coyu’s powerhouse tech house imprint Suara has been dropping some undeniably massive tracks since the start of 2015. With a release schedule as aggressive as theirs, it comes as no surprise they’ve had zero misses so far this year. This week, Suara Showroom 25 continues their high quality streak with club-crushing tech house and techno heat from Oscar L, Rafa Barrios, Arjun Vagale, and Anthony Cardinale, specifically designed to get floors sweaty. Pick it up here.
Electro | Jewelz & Sparks – Parade 98 (Original Mix) [Fly Eye]
We’re always ready for a new track from Jewelz & Sparks, and their most recent comes via Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records. Parade 98 is a unique combo of electro and house, with a breakdown that could probably be repurposed as the drop in a housier remix. Use this one to spice up any peak time set. Purchase here.
Big Room/Electro | Borgeous & David Solano – Big Bang (2015 Life In Color Anthem) [Doorn]
David Solano and Borgeous have teamed up to deliver this year’s Life In Color anthem, Big Bang. Just as the title suggests, this festival-sized banger is suited solely for peak time with devastating saw leads, stack-crushing kicks, and a drop so massive you’d think every nation that signed the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty of 1963 called for a temporary lifting of the ban for this track alone. Get it here.
Trance | Stoneface & Terminal – Infection (Original Mix) [Euphonic]
German melody men Stoneface & Terminal bring their signature moving bassline motif to their newest release, Infection, coming at us from their own label Euphonic. This one is the perfect combination of uplifting big room sounds with trance sensibilities, making it a suitable track for a wide variety of sets. Download it here.
