Tech House | Seth Troxler – Evangelion [Rumors]

Seth Troxler, the underground’s celebrated vocal proponent, releases his first single in years through Guy Gerber’s Rumors this week with Evangelion. Stacked with heavy kicks and acid stabs, this is the kind of track we know will be taking late night (and early morning) dancefloors into the sunrise through summer 2015. Following up on the flip there’s a tech-friendly re-work by the dream duo of Mathew Jonson and Minus’ Heartthrob. Talk about double A-side status. Get it here.

Deep House | Serge Devant, Damiano C. feat. Camille Safiya – Fearing Love [Emerald City]

Well-known in the pop house scene through their Hot Natured fame, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss know how to make an accessible splash. Considering their chart-topping releases on Hot Creations and heavy rotation on top 40 radio worldwide, we knew it was only a matter of time until the duo decided it was time to to take the deep-pop sound into their own hands. This week, we’re graced with the first release from the pair’s debut imprint, Emerald City Music, with Serge Devant and Damiano C.’s Fearing Love. This is one fat slab of peak hour heat at its finest. If this is the pair’s first foray into signing for the label, we can’t wait to hear what the future holds. Pick it up here.

Tech/Electro | Bamboora & Odd Job – Nightwork (Original Mix) [Brooklyn Fire]

Few electro house releases capture the genre’s early glory days. This week, however, Bamboora and Odd Job do just that with their latest through Tommie Sunshine’s Brooklyn Fire, Nightwork. Part tech, part fidget, and peppered with two scoops of floor-filling electro bass, this is the sound that brought electro house to the masses, and we’re happy to hear it alive and well in 2015. Grab it here.

Big Room/Progressive | Codeko – Trace (Original Mix) [Enhanced]

British newcomer Codeko had one of the most talked-about releases of Tritonal’s Tritonia 002 compilation with Trace, and now the full track is available for download. Calling to mind the Avicii piano house glory days, this is a track that defines “uplifting.” Purchase here.

Trance | Airbase – Oil (Original Mix) [Flashover]

Following his comeback single Panache, Airbase takes us a bit darker with his new Flashover release, Oil. This is “angry” trance at its best, with an aggressive bassline accented by menacing melodies that sound like the approach of a sinister army. Download here.
