Axwell /\ Ingrosso have a new single on the way, and the duo has announced that all the profits will go towards helping refugee children.
This Time, the follow-up to their summer smash Sun Is Shining, is backed by the hashtag #THISTIME and the website wecantgohome.com, a nod towards the plight of refugee children across the globe. All profits and donations made through the website will go to the UNHCR fund, a United Nations agency that supports and protects refugees.
No official release date has been announced, but the track has been making the rounds since it was premiered on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show back in December. The track and charity project were announced during ADE, with a statement released by the duo stating “we want to recognize the fact that so many innocent children across the globe are refused the basic right to go home in a time of chaos and commotion.”
The track can be previewed via the short YouTube clip below, and you can find out more about the #THISTIME project via this website, where the track will be unveiled in full in the near future.
