See A Day In The Life of Avicii In The New Video For ‘Lay Me Down’

If you’re an Avicii fan but have never been able to see the Swedish DJ perform live, now’s your chance to get an inside look at what exactly goes on at an Avicii show. In his latest video for Lay Me Down, Avicii offers an in-depth view of what’s been going down on his 2014 True Tour.

Opening with footage of Avicii on his way to a show at the massive Tele2 Arena in his native Sweden, the video follows the DJ giving a pyro- and light-fueled performance of Lay Me Down. The video is mostly made up of aerial shots of Swedes dancing their hearts out while surrounded by a sea of balloons and fire cannons. It’s enough to make someone drop what they’re doing and fly to the nearest Avicii show.

Lay Me Down was recently released as the latest single from Avicii’s 2013 debut album, True. The track features guitar from recent Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rodgers and vocals from Adam Lambert, who is about to embark on tour with the remaining members of Queen.
