America’s very own Andrew Michael Bayer has been a thriving part of the progressive scene for awhile including being half of Signalrunners, a trans-Atlantic duo responsible for major 2008 trance hits These Shoulders and Meet Me In Montauk. Having studied music synthesis at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, Bayer has grown into an even more unstoppable force with a firm base in the Anjunadeep camp.
After recent collaborations with leading industry talent such as Boom Jinx, BT, and Above & Beyond, Bayer has now released a solo EP named Distractions. Best described as one long dynamic track consisting of four “movements,” the release constructs a vivid musical journey through minimal rhythms, driving electro riffs, entrancing progressive synths, and liquid breaks. Listen to all of the movements here, and feel free to navigate the track by clicking on the timestamps below.
