Audien has made something of a name for himself of late, not just because of his productions, but because of his consistency–he’s one of those rare producers who hits the nail on the head every time. In a scene where names come and go so quickly, it’s a trait such as this which keeps you on top of your game and Audien’s latest release is no exception.
Ciao is a funny looking track on paper. A mix of trancy-grooves in the intro, some big room prog house riffs in the break, and a rather filthy electro house drop which verges on dubstep at times. It sounds like something that should be a mess, but it’s the exact opposite. Each section flows and transits beautifully. In less than a minute, it moves from the soaring hands-in-the-air plucks of the break, through the saw riffs which will have everyone jumping, to the insane drop which will send people into overload. It’s a stunning example of how to mix things up when it comes to style.
