Today we’re happy to introduce you all to Madeaux, a very prolific young producer from both Boston via Miami whose expressive downtempo style seems to make an impression on any set of ears that give it a listen. We’re beyond excited to announce his debut release, Madeaux EP, out next Monday, February 2nd on LessThan3 Recordings. To give you an idea of what this release has in store we’re giving out three additional Madeaux tracks that should start whetting appetites and panties alike.
First we have Celestina, an electronic ballad of sorts that really carries the spirit of this up and comer’s sound–soft, yet powerful, with a sprinkle of soul rarely seen on the front-lines of modern EDM. It’s definitely easy listening, but really crisp drums and vibrant bass make Celestina a track that would still move in a club. Circe turns it up a notch with a club-driven kick supported by live instrumentals. It finds this undeniably sexy groove somewhere between mariachi and nu-disco, one of those “sounds crazy, but it just might work” formulas. The third track is a VIP Remix that Madeaux made of UK vocalist Py‘s tune, Lungs. This one’s definitely got the most juice in the lot, focusing on supplementing vocals with fat kicks and hard hitting snares rather than futuristic synths.
