What better way to ring in the start of a brand new month than with an exclusive first listen of the debut album from one of Dim Mak’s most prized artists? After spending four years releasing a slew of heavily supported singles and career-boosting EPs, the Indonesia-born Angger Dimas is finally ready to unleash his first full-length album in the form of Angger Management, set to release tomorrow via Dim Mak. This 19-track behemoth features 15 originals and collaborations, highlighted by appearances from Dim Mak king Steve Aoki and Australian electro group Vandalism, seductive vocals from the likes of Polina, Cassie Crawford, and more as well as 4 bonus tracks, including a special unreleased remix from Miami based DJ and producer Digital LAB.

Ambitiously diverse and extremely well-constructed down to its core, Angger Management is everything we love about Angger Dimas and then some. With 19 tracks and over 90 minutes of creative, genre-meshing airtime, it boasts a number of Dimas-sized bangers and club-destined singles while incorporating a steady balance of vocally-driven, progressive house tracks. The Jakarta native even dips his toes in the trap game and churns out a pretty raw moombahton tune with Vandalism. Spearheading the album is undoubtedly his colossal big room tunes, headlined by his rave-inspired collaboration with Steve Aoki, Annihilation Army, and his single AAAH!, which focuses on a darker, and more unpredictable, installment of contemporary big room music. If those tracks don’t satisfy your quest for uptempo gold, check out the bass-driven approach showcased in Can’t Talk Sex Only, Assassin, a collaboration with Jevin Julian, and, my favorite of the bunch, Boom Do It Like That.

For those looking for something more downtempo and vocal, Dimas teams up with the angelic voices of Polina, Cassie Crawford, and Tara McDonald on the progressive gems Release Me, Take A Breath, and More Than Just A Feeling. The last bonus track on the album is an unreleased remix of Release Me by Digital LAB who spotlights the intricacy of Polina’s voice before taking this track one notch higher on the euphoria scale. The album can be pre-ordered here, via iTunes, and can be purchased through the same link moving forward.
