The track arrives as the first part of the producer’s Anamnesis Trilogy in which he hopes to release a new track each month until the end of the year. It is a soaring number that relies on lilting chord progressions and complex layers. A dynamic arrangement shift is delivered at the midway point to give the track an exciting extra facet for a result that is as pleasing as it is unexpected.
“The Anamnesis Trilogy is all about reviving, reinterpreting and reimagining what I feel are classic – and lost – messages and motifs in trance and progressive,” Bayer said. “In this EDM-era, big room music has become obsessed with high impact, instant gratification and, to be honest, absolutely uninspiring and boring arrangements.”
