23-year-old house phenom Alesso announced that he will be releasing his first-ever full album in 2015.
Slated to come out early in the year, Alesso’s album will release on Def Jam. One single from the album, Heroes, dropped on Aug. 25 and continues to rise on the charts (currently sitting pretty at #13 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and gaining steam). It is unknown what other tracks will be on the yet-to-be-named LP, but Alesso also recently released Tear The Roof Up, an equally successful tune. It is worth noting that both Tear The Roof Up and Heroes were released on Def Jam, the same imprint Alesso’s debut LP has been signed to.
It comes as little surprise that the young Swede’s album will be on Def Jam, as mentor and former Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso announced his superduo, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, would be releasing their debut album on the label in 2015 as well.
