Is there any limit to Swedish talent? Back when we first discovered Albin Myers with tracks like Wobble and Faking Love, we knew there’d be many more furious productions to come. This year he’s got a whole new arsenal of dancefloor weapons for the masses.
Earning another release on Dim Mak, Albin’s latest EP includes Hells Bells, a savage banger that combines roaring big room electro house with dubstep wobbles. Although this beastly chimera has quite a gentle breakdown, its subsequent climax is downright foul and relentless. The tune is so deadly that it even warranted a drumstep version that blasts the tempo up to 174bpm. Another tune on the release called Tick Tick Tock dips more into the realm of tech house with its hard piano stabs.
