Alan Green, a legendary production manager who most recently worked with David Guetta, has died at the age of 46. The cause of his death is as yet unknown.
Alan had previously worked for the likes of Cream–where he headed up production for seven years–Creamfields, Glasgow venue The Tunnel, and toured with artists such as Carl Cox and Sasha, to name just a few.
Tributes to Alan, who was an influential and respected figure within the industry, have been flooding in, with many of dance music’s biggest names paying their respects via social media. David Guetta paid tribute to his friend, saying, “the dance music community lost a true music lover.” Sander Kleinenberg described Green as “a real gentlemen and truly passionate about music and entertainment,” while Steve Lawler described him as “a true good wholesome person (and) a gentleman.”
Green leaves behind a wife and son. Our thoughts here at LessThan3 are with his family and friends.
