Vito De Luca of Aeroplane is starting a new house-centric side project he’s calling Flush, and his release Back Come Back is a fantastic first showing under the new moniker.
Though the track still carries a hint of Luca’s original disco flare, Baby Come Back relies heavily on a more traditional house rhythm. He explains on his SoundCloud that he started Flush, “in order to release all edits and reworks I do on planes and in airport lounges. It will be focused on house music from the early days. Often sample-based but not always, it’s a mixture of Chicago house and French touch a la Crydamoure.”
Though it’s ironic that the man behind the Aeroplane name create tunes on airplanes for his new alter ego, his loaded tour schedule promises more time in planes, thus more Flush releases to come. Look for Baby Come Back out July 31 via Strictly Raw, and catch the producer in action when his tour starts Aug. 1.
